Ciate Mini Mani Month 2016 - Advent Calendar

My mother (probably the only one who reads this blog - hey mom!) got me the BEST present for pre-Christmas: the Ciate Mini Mani Month advent calendar.

It's your basic advent calendar concept - open one little gift every day until Christmas Eve. Except instead of chocolate - the calendar includes mini Ciate nail polishes and products. Isn't that the best idea ever? EDIT: it was.

December was a hard month for me - it was super busy at work, I moved!! (Stay tuned for a blog post on my snazzy new nail polish storage / set up!) and Christmas shopping stress was in full swing. Knowing I had a new little nail polish waiting for me every day was a little positive way to start the morning.

Ciate is an amazing brand to begin with - so excited I got to add the following products and shades to my collection! (Thanks again mom!)

I thought I'd separate what I got into type - because honestly I forgot which days I opened what. TO NOTE: My Mini Mani Month came with a duplicate - I had two Dec. 20th polishes, and no Dec. 23rd. It didn't really phase me though - I was able to gift the dupe to a friend as an early Christmas pressie!

I've tried La Dolce Vita - absolutely stunning. It shifts from green, to dark blue to gold on the nail. Amazing!

Risky Business is BEAUTIFUL. I did a winter mani with this shade - will post in a future post I'm sure. Or check out my Instagram! The holo polish is also great - always good to have another one of those on hand.

Called Meet Me at Midnight, the full size did not disappoint! a complex rose gold, purple and black glitter polish is a stunner in the bottle. And that rose gold cap? Amazing! Will feature in an Untrieds soon!
