Summer Manis (July/August) + Summer Faves!

Holy moly! This summer just flew by! With cottage weekends and time spent with family it was a fun and dizzying blur - filled with nail looks I haven't updated you on! Here's a roundup of some of my faves from #summersixteen!
While we're on the subject of summer faves - here were my top 3 most used products this summer:

"SUPERSTAR" BY PURE ICE
This is my holy grail white nail polish - and for $1.97 at Walmart Canada, it's a true score! This is the base of many manis, often the lightest shade in ombre looks or the the finishing detail shade. Opaque in two coats, the creamy finish even looks great on it's own!
QUO (by Shoppers Drug Mart) Cosmetic Spade Sponges
These babies are latex-free and make ombre manis a breeze. The spade shape makes ombre application easy while the 3D shape means more manis per sponge (aka cost saving!)
"TREASURE CHEST" by Barry M
A find from my England trip in May, this fleck glitter quickly became a fave. Best applied with a sponge, this shade adds the perfect amount of eye-catching gold sparkle to any mani. Plus the packaging? So cute!
