OPI Haul + DIY Nail Stickers

I recently picked up four gorgeous summer shades from OPI - they were on super clearance at a beauty supply store at the Niagara Outlets: 4 for $30! Such a score.

From L-R: Live. Love. Carnival (Brazil Collection, Spring/Summer 2014); Is Mai Tai Crooked? (Hawaii Collection, Spring 2015); That's Hula-rious (Hawaii Collection, Spring 2015); and No Room for the Blues (Brights by OPI, 2009).
I rarely buy OPI nail polish because of the hefty price - I usually see these for sale in Canada at $12.50 each or higher. But man oh man - these babies are totally worth the money. All are two coaters, though Live. Love. Carnival can almost get away with just one coat. Their cream finishes dry glossy and with a good top coat (like my ultimate love, Seche Vite) these won't chip for a week...not that I often leave my manis on long enough to find out ;)
Inspired by many lovely ladies on YouTube - most notably Janelle from elleandish - I decided to finalllly try to make my own DIY nail stickers. While albeit a bit messy - and a little bit time consuming - these turned out pretty great!
STEP 1: Paint on base coat and base colour.

STEP 2: Using top coat, paint squares on a plastic sandwich bag. Let dry.
STEP 3: Paint design with nail polish onto top coat squares - I decided to try a floral design here.

STEP 4: Once design is dry, peel up with a set of tweezers.
STEP 5: Paint base coat onto desired nail and carefully place and press the nail sticker onto the nail. This part can get a bit messy, but have no fear - it all comes out rosy (bad pun!) in the end.

STEP 6: Using a tiny brush dipped in nail polish remover, clean up the edges around the nail. Any leftover sticker will melt away with the nail polish remover.
And that's it!
I decided to try out a few different designs - let me know what you think!
