Trying the Untrieds #1: Lots of Luxe by Essie

Every nail polish addict has one – a bin of untrieds. Untrieds are polishes you’ve hauled, or received but never tried.

My bin of untrieds is at an all time high – with my birthday and then traveling to England and shopping for “English” polish at Boots, I have a stockpile of shades that I haven’t even opened.

Well that’s about to change. Presenting “Trying the Untrieds” – a weekly blog feature where I try the “new to me” shades in my collection.

First up: “Lots of Lux” by Essie.

This matte glitter is GORGEOUS in the bottle. It’s blue, teal and purple depending on how you tilt the bottle, with silver glitter reflects. On the nails, the polish leans towards just blue, though the sparkle is out of this world! So pretty – especially in direct sunlight.
