Essie's 1,000th shade: "Aim to Misbehave"

Essie's 1,000th shade is bright mustard yellow and I’m kind of in love with it. Yellow can be a tricky shade to pull off – but this one gives me Belle’s ball gown from Beauty and the Beast vibes and pleasantly surprised me with how pretty it looked on.

“Aim to Misbehave” is a limited edition Essie shade, released to celebrate the brand’s 35th anniversary. It’s a shimmery mustard yellow polish with pearly reflects. I achieved opacity with three thin coats and didn’t notice any issues with streakiness – a big woohoo in my books.

While I don’t have many Essie shades in my collection – they’re expensive to buy here in Canada – I do have a few tried and true favourites that I turn to again and again, for full manis and nail art.
